Behringer SL 85S Dynamic Microphone

Deliver clear vocal audio to your audience with the SL 85S from Behringer, a handheld dynamic microphone with a built-in on/off switch for manual mic muting and a cardioid pickup pattern for rejection of noise and feedback from the sides and rear. With an integrated wind and pop filter as well as a shockmount system to reduce handling noise, you get clean vocals every time.

The wide frequency response and smooth mid presence ensure optimal vocal projection from PA systems. The high signal output reduces the amount of gain boosting needed, helping to further improve the quality of your vocals. The SL 85S includes a mic clip and a carrying case.

Why Dynamic?

Dynamic mics have several advantages that make them ideal for live vocal applications and for recording amplified instruments. They’re robust, resistant to moisture, and can achieve high gain before feedback. The cardioid pickup pattern captures the source signal, such as a guitar amplifier or vocalist, while shunning off-axis sound. And best of all, dynamic microphones don’t require any phantom power, so all you need is your mic and cable.
