The Auray BSM-35R Suspension Shockmount for Broadcast, Podcast & Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphones is a sturdy, all-metal shockmount that effectively isolates your microphone and prevents unwanted vibrations from affecting its performance. It features heavy-duty elastic bands that suspend and isolate the microphone inside the basket, so your mic is decoupled from noise sources such as floor or table vibrations and handling noise.
The BSM-35R is particularly effective when suspending a microphone down from a boom or broadcast arm. M20 and M22 adapters are included for compatibility with many condenser and dynamic mics, and the threaded socket provides a secure locking connection between the shockmount and microphone. For optimum microphone placement, the angle of the shockmount is adjustable and can be locked into position with the locking knob.
The BSM-35R is compatible with many dynamic and condenser microphones, including the Rode Podcaster, Procaster, and NT1-A microphones. It's especially effective for securing a microphone that's suspended down from a broadcast or boom arm.

Taking your show on the road to Europe? You might encounter a mic stand or boom arm with a 3/8"-16 thread. The included 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 threaded adapter will ensure you're compatible with older European mic stands, and even if you're using a boom pole to suspend your mic.
