Product highlights and buying context
Enhance your video editing, photography, and design workflows with the 27" Apple Studio Display XDR. Featuring a sharp 5120 x 2880 resolution 5K Retina screen with thin bezels and 27" active viewing area, this professional-grade reference monitor is designed to elevate your computing experience while helping to keep you focused.
The Apple Studio Display XDR is available with either a standard glass or nano-texture glass finish. Both are engineered for low reflectivity, but the nano-texture finish offers enhanced glare reduction for harsh lighting conditions and direct sunlight.
A studio-grade three-mic array with directional beamforming helps to ensure that you come through loud and clear on video calls and voice recordings while reducing environmental noise.
Four force-cancelling woofers deliver bold, deep bass with minimum distortion while the two high-performance tweeters provide accurate mids and crisp highs to fully immerse you in audio.
Dolby Atmos virtual surround sound immerses you in audio by creating a personal movie theater or concert hall experience.
Connect your system through the Thunderbolt 5 port, which can transfer up to 120 Gb/s data and 140W charging power to your compatible Mac laptop. The second Thunderbolt 5 port allows you to daisy chain an additional Studio Display XDR monitor for an expansive workspace. The rear panel also includes two 10 Gb/s compatible USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports that work with external storage drives, tablets, and phones.
The included stand features a counterbalancing arm that allows you to adjust the tilt by 30° and its height by about four inches for the ideal view. Users have the option of purchasing a VESA adapter for landscape or portrait mode mounting on wall, swivel arm, or multi-monitor stand.
Available with a future update, the medical imaging reference modes and DICOM calibration app allow the Studio Display XDR to be used to review medical images with detailed grayscale and color accuracy. It can be easily switched back to a default preset for general use.
