Angler FastBox Strip Softbox (12 x 36")

TheFastBoxStrip Softbox from Angler is a 12 x 36" strip softbox designed to set up and collapse in a fraction of the time it takes to set up a standard softbox. With a single motion, it expands to snap and lock into a classic rectangular shape that's ideal for a head-and-shoulder accent or as a creative key light. A built-in speed ring allows for quick flash attachment with adapters (sold separately), so you can use a standard on-camera flash or the Profoto A1 and Godox V1 flash heads.

The pistol-grip design uses a unique twist lock to attach to any light stand with a 5/8" stud, and it allows the tilt to be adjusted with a simple squeeze of the trigger lock. The silver interior amplifies your flash's output, and the included inner and outer diffusers create an even beam without hot spots. This rapidly deployed light modifier provides a beautiful and flattering light from edge to edge, a natural shape for replicating window light, and diffusion that softens and evens out the harsh light of your flash.

This strip softbox provides a thin rectangular beam with soft edges that's often used as an accent or creative key light for tight spaces. Its shape gives it different functions in horizontal or vertical orientations. Placed in front of and above a subject, it throws a wide and flattering beam. Behind a subject, use it as a head-and-shoulder light that will accentuate a subject's form and shape.

The FastBox's reflective silver interior amplifies your flash head's output. A silver interior ensures you get the most light transmission from your flash so you can shape and modify the beam to your specifications.

Bypassing the entire process of setting up an ordinary softbox by letting you set up in seconds, the one-motion setup is why it's called a FastBox. The FastBox expands to its full shape as you snap it into place for a tight shell that will give you an even and consistent beam.

This softbox is compatible with any standard light stand with a 5/8" stud. The unique pistol-grip and twist-lock design secures the FastBox to a light stand.

The FastBox comes mounted on its own pistol grip that has tilt adjustment controlled by a trigger. The pistol grip allows for 120° of tilt adjustment, so aiming the FastBox up towards the ceiling or down for a product shoot takes only a squeeze of the trigger.

The FastBox has both inner and outer baffles to evenly diffuse your flash and soften the light. It casts a flattering, smooth light on your subject while minimizing hotspots and offering even lighting from edge to edge.

The separately available Color Correction Kit works seamlessly with your FastBox for rapid color correction. Each piece magnetically attaches to the front of the FastBox, so adding and changing them won't cause delays on your shoot. A diffuser is included to soften most flashes, as well as a gel frame that can be used to add a gel of your choice. The kit also comes with a honeycomb grid that adds directionality to your beam while minimizing light spill.

A fabric grid is available separately and attaches to the recessed touch-connect strips on the FastBox. It narrows the beam of your flash and controls light spill without compromising light quality. The grid is ideal for portraits, fashion, and dramatic shots, where directional light is desired.
