Amino Communications Aminet A129 MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 SD IP Set-Top Box

Connect your standard definition TV to IPTV broadcasts with the Aminet A129 MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 SD IP Set-Top Box from Amino. This compact set-top box provides the ability to input IPTV video streams as well as HLS streams using MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 codecs to be converted for output onto a standard definition TV via a 10-pin DIN. Output formats include composite, component, RGB, S-Video, and analog audio output via separately available conversion cables.

The A129 is easily deployed on the same network for use with secondary TVs that only support standard definition video and analog audio.

The A129 is designed with the compact Amino style with a sleek look that fits into any AV installation.

A large ecosystem of middleware, browsers, management, and DRM options is available for use with the A129 to ensure compatibility with the ever-changing IPTV market.

The A129 supports developers using the Amino JMACX system, which enables full control of functions from the browser. JMACX provides the service operator with a powerful set of HTML and JavaScript extensions for user interface design. Creating custom application ADKs and SDKs is also an available option.

The A129 stores a complete software image onboard via flash memory, and it supports secure bootstrap updates from a multicast server for remote updates. For security, software images can be signed with keys unique to each deployment.

NOTE: There are no USB ports on the A129. The separately available AMINET512-790 IR Keyboard is required for programming.
